Program

Educational Activities:

  • 20 hours weekly of sports activities;

  • 16 hours weekly of recreational and cultural activities;

  • 8 hours weekly of Italian language course.

Program: This multidisciplinary sports center is designed for young people aged 7 to 14. The aim is to provide the opportunity to experience various activities, pre-sport, and sports using innovative training methodologies and strategies suitable for various age groups. For this reason, the program is based on multidisciplinarity and interdisciplinarity, ensuring that all cases include dedicated moments for sports activities mixed with recreational and playful activities.

  • Multisport: Educational Organization: Classes are conducted by certified coaches and will include activities in both small and large groups. Additionally, intersection events (bringing groups together) will be organized to promote interaction among participants, thus fostering social integration. All participants will be offered the following sports disciplines:

    • Basketball: Theoretical and practical activities with scheduled training sessions.

    • Rugby “Play with Us!”: This is the slogan of the camp. In recent years, rugby has become very popular, especially among young people. The educational spirit behind this phenomenon is passed down along with the sport’s rules. Respect for referees, ensuring no one is left behind, the desire to play for fun, and consideration for opponents are all emphasized. What appeals about this sport is its educational spirit and respect for the opponent, which makes it quite different from soccer. Registrations are open to both genders. Beach rugby has a long history and is regulated by FIR, making it a category of rugby on par with Rugby Union and Rugby Sevens, the latter being an Olympic sport. It will be a recreational activity that guarantees fun, played at the beach under the sun, yet remains as exciting as traditional rugby (specific clothing to pack: soccer shoes, 3 pairs of shorts, 3 t-shirts, socks, mouthguards).

    • Recreational Sports Activities: Swimming, Beach Volleyball, Beach Soccer, Jogging, Trekking. (Specific clothing to pack: soccer shoes, 3 pairs of shorts, 3 t-shirts, socks, mouthguards, swimsuits, beach sandals, gym shoes).

    • Recreational Activities: These activities will be carried out in collaboration with Group Leaders and Activity Leaders, filled with games, music, and fun, in order for the kids to have unforgettable evenings.

    • Italian Workshop: We have designed interactive group activities involving games, theater, and music to introduce students to the foreign language. During the stay, they will be “occupied” preparing a theatrical performance in Italian or engaging in recreational activities in the language. In the afternoon, we will activate the “Channel Plus”, which aims to improve learning and oral comprehension, enrich vocabulary, and optimize grammar through watching films or stories in English divided into various episodes. Additionally, we will run workshops with open participation.

    • Basic Photography Workshop: How many times have you used your phone as a camera to capture a beautiful moment, a work of art, or the environment around you, posting stunning photos on social media? In this Summer Camp, this is possible! The material will be published in a logbook where parents can share in their children’s daily experiences.

    • Chess Game: Chess helps develop spatial thinking. As they calculate moves, kids mentally shift pieces on the chessboard, thus training their spatial imagination. Chess also enhances memory.

Evening Activities: Fun and educational activities organized by the staff (e.g., sports games, karaoke, movie nights, quiz nights, challenges, talent shows, theater, treasure hunts, murder mysteries, Carnival Night, end-of-camp party; “Under the Stars” night, city outings). Each week, the following will be organized:

  • One sports night (night soccer and tennis) with dinner (pizza or panini);

  • One beach night under a starry sky, where we will have dinner with pizza, pizza with Nutella, or some slices of watermelon between games.

Excursion
